INSPIRE STUDENTS INVOLVE MOBILITY PROGRAMME

SINTOK : A Mobility Talk aim to promote students’ mobility programme was organized by School of Multimedia Technology and Communication (SMMTC), University Utara Malaysia at the school main meeting room recently.

Director of Mobility Programme, Dr. Azizah Che Omar said it is a good opportunity for students who want to travel and changing a better study experience.

“Students can study in different cultural and learning environment, meet new friends and build up their personality,” she said.
There are many universities are ready open for students to study abroad like Prince of Songkhla Thailand, UNIKOM Indonesia, La Salleh University, Istanbul University and University President, she added.
50 students from SMMTC was attended the mobility talk.

One of the student, Fatin Nabilah Binti Mohd Razif, shared her mobility experience in the talk. “Class schedule in National University of Singapore (NUS) was not that packed, compare to UUM, I has free time to do my own thing,” Fatin said. But, it is compulsory for them to attend tutorial class because they need to practice the two-way communication in NUS, she added. Besides that, she advised all the mobility students must be prepare due to competitiveness study environment.
SMMTC students who obtain good result in exam with CGPA 3.0 or above are qualified to join this mobility programme.
For the students who join this mobility programme, the tuition fees and accommodation fees are provided.
